Founded in 1948, our restaurant takes pride in showcasing locally sourced ingredients, offering seasonal sashimi such as sea squirt (hoya), oysters, sea bass, and bonito from Sendai Port. Enjoy authentic kappo cuisine, crafted with the finest ingredients throughout the year.

Our journey began in 1927 (Showa 2) when my great-grandfather established Kappo Shouchiku in Ichibancho.
In 1948 (Showa 23), the second generation relocated it to Tatsumachi, where it remained for 54 years.
In 2002 (Heisei 14), I took over the restaurant, moved it to Omachi, and renamed it Shouchiku Zendokoro. With this transition, we introduced a relaxed dining style with chairs and tables, making kappo cuisine more accessible.

We emphasize local and seasonal ingredients, allowing each dish to highlight the flavors of the season.
Our single-floor dining space fosters a warm and intimate atmosphere, where we value close interaction with our guests.
In Japanese cuisine, presentation is part of the experience—we carefully select dishware to match the seasons, from glassware in summer to earthenware in winter.

We look forward to welcoming you.

The rich, umami-packed flavor of our dry-aged (super-aged) yakiniku and steak is truly unforgettable—one bite, and you’ll be hooked!

Gyuujin Ichibancho Main Branch opened in August 2018 as the flagship store of Gyuujin.
We source whole Sendai beef cattle, carefully dry-ageing the meat for 35 days or more under perfect conditions to enhance its natural sweetness and umami.
Dry-aging intensifies the flavor and tenderness, creating a taste experience that keeps customers coming back.

Among our top recommendations are the “Tokusen Gyuujin Mori”, a selection of both yakiniku and steak, and the “Omakase Course”, featuring the chef’s best picks of the day.

Enjoy fully private rooms meticulously designed for comfort, making our restaurant the perfect setting for romantic dinners, business meetings, or special occasions.
For a memorable dining experience with premium beef and exceptional hospitality, we warmly invite you to visit us.

Founded in May 1914 (Taisho 3), our restaurant has been serving the finest seasonal flavors of Ishinomaki in a relaxing private dining atmosphere for over a century.

Ishinomaki is blessed with the rich fishing grounds of Kinkasan Offshore, lush mountains, and the flow of the Kitakami River into the Pacific Ocean.
As the nutrients from the forests enrich these waters, the ingredients harvested here shine with freshness.

For over 100 years, we have been supported by the blessings of this land and the warm patronage of our guests.
While we have faced challenges, including natural disasters that forced us to temporarily close, the unwavering support of our customers has brought us to where we are today.

We remain committed to preserving the authentic flavors passed down from our founder while creating a tranquil space where guests can enjoy the finest local ingredients prepared with care.
With continuous dedication to our craft, we strive to be a restaurant that serves and enriches our community for generations to come.

Founded in 1980 (Showa 55), we specialize in fresh seafood dishes, offering a wide variety of options, including sashimi, set meals, seafood bowls, and grilled dishes, allowing guests to enjoy the finest seasonal flavors.

Our restaurant’s name, Hamachou, combines the character “Choro” (from my grandfather Takeo’s name) with “Hama” (representing our origins in Ajishima).
Now in its second generation, we remain committed to using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, preserving the traditional essence of Hamachou.

Although our restaurant was completely destroyed in the 2011 earthquake, we relocated and reopened on July 2, 2012, starting anew with a fresh perspective.
Located near Ishinomaki Kanan IC, we now welcome more guests from Wakayanagi, Yamoto, Hirobuchi, and beyond.

During lunchtime, we offer beautifully crafted set meals, while in the evening, guests can enjoy a selection of à la carte dishes paired with sake.
To ensure a pleasant dining experience, we recommend calling ahead for reservations.

We look forward to serving you.

We take pride in grilling high-quality eel to perfection using traditional techniques, finished with our century-old secret tare sauce.

Founded in 1913 (Taisho 2), our restaurant was established by my grandfather, who named it after his hometown Yawata in Tagajo Village.
For over 100 years, we have preserved the authentic flavors of Unagi Kappo Yawata-ya.

Though our restaurant was destroyed in the 2011 earthquake, we rebuilt and reopened in July 2012, creating a more spacious and welcoming dining area.

We believe a fine restaurant is like tailoring a custom-made garment, offering each guest a unique and memorable experience.
With seasonal ingredients and carefully selected dishware, we aim to share the beauty of Japanese cuisine and culture.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Founded in 1952 (Showa 27) as a riverside inn, our restaurant Tomofukumaru opened in 1984 (Showa 59), specializing in fresh seafood from the islands.
The name “Tomofukumaru” comes from a ferry that operated along the island route initiated by our founder in the early Taisho era, connecting Ishinomaki, Tashirojima, Ajishima, and Ayukawa.

Famous for our “Fresh Uni Bukkake-meshi”, we have long been a beloved spot for both locals and visitors to Ishinomaki.
Though our restaurant was swept away by the 2011 earthquake, we continued operations at a temporary location until finally returning to our original riverside site in April 2018.

With the scenic Kitakami riverside as our backdrop, we offer delicious seafood dishes beyond traditional Japanese cuisine.
We invite you to enjoy a unique and unforgettable dining experience with us.

We are dedicated to local flavors and farm-to-table dining, continuously refining our craft to bring out the best in every dish.
Through our cuisine, we hope to offer a taste of Ishinomaki’s rich culture and way of life.
